INTRODUCTION TO PROJECT MANAGEMENT AT THE READERS’ HUB

The Readers’ Hub is a Katsina-based intellectual hangout and reading with a weekly programme schedule on every Thursday.

On Thursday, the 11th of August, 2022, the club invited a project management expert in person of Mr. Yusuf Umar Usman to deliver an introductory expert presentation on “Project Management”.

The session which took place at Lumilab, the usual host organization in Katsina lasted for almost two hours and started with an opening remark from Abduhakim Dayyabu, the convener of the session, followed by an opening prayer by Sanusi Abdul Sule and then to an engaging impromptu “Question and Answer” session that started with the guest presenter.

An introduction to The Readers’ Hub was then given by Mal. Faisal Mudi Kurfi, the club’s Organizing Secretary and was followed by a poetry presentation by Aliyu Salisu Funtua.

The second part of the event started with an introduction of the guest presenter by the convener who was then called to the podium for his presentation.

Mr. Yusuf, who doubles as the Founder and CEO of AFRAH Consulting Services Ltd. delivered a richly designed and resourcefully drafted presentation on “Introduction to Project Management”. He discussed project, project and strategy planning, project management terms, features of a project, project management pyramid, project management phases and processes, project scope and project stakeholder management among other areas.

Although Mr. Yusuf couldn’t wait to take comments and questions due to some official schedules, participants like Muhammad Hadi Kabir, Bello Kabir Bature, Abubakar Salisu Charanchi, Ibrahim Nuhu Kankia and Faisal Mudi Kurfi  still thanked him and gave their contributions.

There were contributions also from by Mal. Abu Alee, the Founder of Prep Consults who has vast experiences in project management.

Earlier, a five-minute presentation was made by Suleiman Sada Kerau to commemorate the International Youth Day in advance.

The session was closed by a closing remark from the Quarter Leader, Ibrahim Nuhu Kankia and a closing prayer from Abdurrahman Jabir.

The club thanked Mr. Yusuf Umar Usman so much for sharing his knowledge with the members and hoped to see them in AFRAH Consulting’s Project Management Masterclass.

It was an eventful, engaging and educative session.

Hi there, I do think your website could possibly
be having web browser compatibility issues. Whenever I take a look
at your website in Safari, it looks fine however, when opening in Internet Explorer, it has some overlapping issues.
I simply wanted to provide you with a quick heads up!

    Besides that, great blog!

I’ve been surfing online more than three hours today, but I by no means found any attention-grabbing article like yours. It¦s lovely value enough for me. In my opinion, if all website owners and bloggers made just right content as you did, the internet will be much more useful than ever before.
